Disney’s Moderate resorts offer a good mix of value and nicer amenities. Larger rooms, beautiful landscaping, and a greater range of food, shopping, and entertainment at the main building. Moderate resorts are still motel style with exterior corridors, but the landscaping, position, and shape of the buildings offer more privacy. One downside to this is the long distance of some rooms from the main building and multiple bus stops which can be a headache during busy times of the year. Having your own vehicle, or renting one, is highly recommended. Moderate resorts typically appeal more to adults, but they do offer great themed pools along with some child friendly activities. The addition of specially themed pirate and princess rooms to some locations also adds kid appeal. Fort Wilderness Cabins and campsites are also included in the Moderate class though they offer a much different experience.
