Type: 2 queen beds. Some may have fold down beds which are only suitable for younger children. 384 rooms have a pirate theme with boat shaped beds, wood plank floors, and pirate decor throughout. NOTE: Part of the early 2015 resort renovation is an upgrade from full beds to queen size. If you are traveling during this period, check with the resort desk to confirm if your building has been completed.

Key Room Features: Moderate class rooms are a step up from Value in terms of size and resort amenities. There are two queen beds, a small table and chairs, dresser, and open closet/storage area. There is a mini fridge and coffee maker. The vanity area is separate from the toilet/shower and has TWO sinks plus a privacy screen from the main room. Preferred rooms are close to the main building and well worth the few extra dollars since some of the buildings are quite far from the main area. There is a large themed pool with separate children’s splash area, plus some buildings have their own small pool.

Transportation

Bus transport to all Disney parks, water parks, and Downtown Disney. There are 7 bus stops encircling the property, which can be tedious and also a headache during really busy times.
