Here’s a little treat for you today, our friends at Destinations in Florida have provided some great pictures of the new lobby at the Polynesian Village resort! The former waterfall display was beautiful, but one thing that stood out to me while staying there was how poor the traffic flow was through the main building. The new design is much more open and relaxing with vibrant colors and dark woods, which is what you’d expect for a Polynesian theme. The Poly still has major construction that will last for several more months as the pool is completely refurbished and a large hot tub added, grounds are redesigned, and DVC bungalows are completed on the waterfront.
