Actress Jessica Chastain channels Princess Merida in the latest addition to the popular Disney Dream Portraits series by photographer Annie Leibovitz. The portrait is entitled Where Your Destiny Awaits. Entertainment Tonight was granted behind the scenes access during the photo shoot and has provided a video. In the ET video she says of Merida, “I definitely see her as a modern princess. She’s headstrong, she’s funny, she has great passion. It’s a good role model for young girls.” The new portrait can be seen in the February issue of O – The Oprah Magazine, available on newsstands later this month. Jessica joins other celebrities who have posed for Annie Leibovitz’ in the Disney Dream Portraits series including Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, and Johnny Depp. Follow the link to view the rest of the series!
