New details are being released during the D23 convention this weekend in Orlando and Pandora – The World of Avatar has been eagerly awaited. The new expansion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open sometime this summer. If you’ve been there recently, you’ll already have seen the floating mountains in the background from the entrance and bus stop. Construction has taken a long time, but from what I’ve seen already it is going to have been worth the wait. See below for more details and high resolution images. Walt Disney World continues to produce amazing nighttime shows and their latest collaboration with Intel is new Starbright Holidays, which will take place at Disney Springs West Side. This innovative light show 300 drones dance through the sky to classic Christmas music as they put on a light show. An official start date...Read More

Disney has become a major powerhouse in the film industry with the combination of successful animated Disney films, inventive Pixar movies, a slew of Marvel action, and now the insanely popular Star Wars franchise that I am all too happy they injected life into. Here is the current schedule of movie releases from Walt Disney Studios. 2017 Beauty and the Beast (Live Action): 3/17 Born in China DisneyNature film: 4/21 Guardians of...Read More
One new animated series I’ve been eagerly awaiting is Big Hero 6, which will be debuting on the Disney XD channel sometime in 2017. The original movie was both entertaining and visually stunning. Disney announced this week that most of the original cast, including comic book legend Stan Lee, will be returning for the series. I was surprised Big Hero 6 didn’t develop more of a following, though a quality animated series may change that soon. I’ll keep you posted when they finally announce a release date. Per Disney PR: Disney XD’s upcoming animated series Big Hero 6, based...Read More

The new “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” show will primarily feature projections on the Chinese Theater and fireworks as we have seen recently with the Star Wars night time program; except now there will be snow!
